I'm based in Redditch, Worcestershire and I've been an IT professional for over 20 years. I worked for a very well known blue chip organisation based in the Midlands before I took voluntary redundancy and left the company in 2009.

This gave me a great opportunity to start my own business, doing something I love and making the best use of my technical experience and creative skills to offer website and consultancy services.

I has been creating websites for the last 10 years, starting with my own music and media work. I'm also something of an expert when it comes to the likes of eBay, making the most of social networking sites and how to promote yourself and your business (often for free).

In 2010 I started my own company called 'YOUR WEB HELPER' and I'm now helping small businesses, individuals and local community groups, to have their own websites and I am also helping people to get the most out of the web. Ian says - "Technology in definatley in my blood. I started my working career when there were not many computers around. The first computer I used (in 1982) was an Apple II running a little spreadsheet program called VisiCalc. From then on it was mainframes, micro's, midrange and home PC's. I've had a fascination with computers and music technology ever since. I started to use the internet many years ago via my very slow dial-up modem. And now I love all the new innovations and tools which help us create our own virtual worlds of work and extertainment".
